In the year 2020, a total of 15,97,435 candidates registered for NEET exam in India. A total of 1, 18, 316 MBBS & BDS seats available in India for NEET 2020 which is approximately 7% of the registered candidates. It clearly clarifies the competition between the aspirants. Therefore, most of the Indian students aspiring to pursue MBBS in India find it difficult to get a medical seat through merit. In any circumstances, merit candidates who have not got seats even after they qualified in the exam they need to write NEET for next year expecting for seat in good college.

The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy is purposed with developing education, research and propagation of indigenous alternative medicine systems in India.

NEET result is the basis for admission to seats under All India Quota (15%) and State quota (85%). The admission under 15% will be done through centralized counseling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) A total number of government medical colleges and private institutions are about 532. As the latest information available there are a total of 1,18,316 MBBS & BDA seats available in India for NEET 2020. The total number of MBBS seats under NEET 2020 has increased with AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS seats.

The NEET 2019 result analysis shows, 14.52% more candidates took the exam as compared to the year 2018 According to NEET 2019 result analysis, 797042 candidates qualified the exam out which 445761 girls and 351278 boys.
